Valachan Locations

Location	Description
Council of the Whip Spider	Within this cavern, a sapient Giant Spider presides over representatives of countless insect species. Those seeking insect allies might entreat these councilors for aid.
Forest of Fossils	Dinosaurs and megafauna seem common in the Forest of Fossils. The region's most notorious predator is Mother Heartless, a heavily scarred Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Gasping Way	The steep walls of the forested ravine called the Gasping Way keep the forest below in near-constant shadow. Quicksand, common along this route, acts with deadly swiftness.
Poison's Taste	People say the lake called Poison's Taste is filled with the venom of a giant, sleeping snake. Most who drink from the lake die—but those who survive become immune to nearly all poisons.
Sangui Cove	Sharks, Plesiosaurs, giant aquatic snakes, and other waterborne menaces battle each other constantly in Sangui Cove. Deep below lie the wrecks of ships, some laden with fantastic wealth.
Shuaran	The human warriors of the village of Shuaran value honor above all. They avoid Chakuna and might help her foes or those who offer aid against the deadly howling Apes that dwell nearby.
Sleepless Forest	Noisy animals and pests are common in the Sleepless Forest. Anything that dies here reanimates as a Zombie the following night, shambles away, and collapses in a quieter resting place.
Starving Water	Skeleton-covered ruins jut from the center of the Starving Water. The deadly waters frequently release gases in limnic eruptions capable of suffocating nearby creatures.
Throne of Eels	An Aboleth named Apez-Zos lurks within bizarre ruins beneath the lake called the Throne of Eels. It has enthralled nearby lizardfolk communities into serving it and seeks to supplant Chakuna.
Weeping Rainforest	The predators in the Weeping Rainforest have a sadistic streak, grievously wounding their prey, then leaving it to struggle in high trees. The cries of the wounded ring through the canopy.
Yaguara's Heart	Within the canyon of Yaguara's Heart lies a temple, beneath which sprawl blood-painted caverns. Hidden inside is Chakuna's beating heart, which binds her to the land.
