Kartakass Locations

Location	Description
Argent Falls Conservatory	Performers flock to a bardic college atop the Argent Falls. Caverns behind the falls bear rich silver deposits but are haunted by Banshees—the souls of failed performers.
The Catacombs	Violent goblins lurk amid mazelike canyons called the Catacombs. Here, the goblin gladiator Nym Pymplee hosts fighting tournaments, with victors winning treasures from distant domains.
Cavea Plains	The Cavea Plains' acoustics carry voices over great distances. Any speech above a whisper might attract the attention of wolves.
Cesca's Vantage	On the night of a full moon, a tarokka-reading wolf appears atop Cesca's Vantage. She produces crimson cards from any corpse she is offered, and her readings are never wrong.
Cortton	A plague has taken root in Cortton. The town's residents cake heavy makeup and garish blush on their faces, desperate to convince themselves and others that they're uninfected.
Emherst	Every "resident" of Emherst is an in-character improvisational actor. They live in the Understage, an underground network of backstages, and they never interrupt performances.
Goblyn Graves	Undead goblinoids often emerge from the Goblyn Graves, the former lair of Radaga, an undead witch said to possess powerful magic treasures.
House of Illusions	This fun house of visual illusions is run by Jack Bequick: a vampire cursed with eternal invisibility and a twisted sense of humor.
Medria	Several dramatic-effects artists call the fishing village of Medria home. Colorful explosions and wandering puppets are commonplace.
Point Hallucination	The Mists often surge over Lake Variatio to deposit newcomers at the rickety quay known as Point Hallucination, where traveling merchants and performers eagerly greet them.
Wildersung Wood	At twilight, a sourceless chorus drifts through these woods. Those who don't sing along risk losing their lives, while those who discover the last verse discover a hidden sanctuary.
