Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot
Some of the following benefits require that the spell is cast with a spell slot of a specified level or higher.
Omen
You focus your mind on a past event, present circumstance, or a planned course of action and the GM delivers an omen. The omen is secretly hopeful, baleful, or neutral. A hopeful omen might be the sudden flight of a white bird or the sun appearing from behind the clouds, whereas a baleful omen could be a candle blowing out or a crow shrieking in the distance. Moreover, the GM can provide larger omens for more momentous occasions, such as a meteor shower or a red-colored rain. If you choose this option more than once before finishing a Long Rest, there is a 50 chance that you get a random omen.
Premonition (Level 3+ Spell Slot)
The GM offers you a non-literal or symbolic vision of an event that will occur within the next 24 hours. For example, to imply an imminent betrayal, the GM could present a dagger stabbed into the back of a scarecrow or one of your possessions splattered with blood. Once you use this option, you can't do so again until you finish a Long Rest.
Portent (Level 3+ Spell Slot)
Roll 1d20 and record the number rolled. You can replace any D20 Test made by you or a creature that you can see with the recorded number. You must choose to do so before the roll. You lose this recorded number when you finish a Long Rest or use this option again.
