Minsc's Hat Of Winter Warming

The Rashemen ranger Minsc has become beloved across Faerun's Sword Coast (and beyond!) for his bravery, frankness, and dedication to smashing evil wherever it may appear. The bardic tales of his exploits never fail to make note of his signature style: his commanding stature, his hamster companion, Boo, and the unmistakable purple tattoo that covers his bald scalp.

While this pattern can't grant you Minsc's size (or hamster), it will impart some of his warmth and visual panache as you pursue your wintery adventures. (Should you require the former, you might try an elixir of the colossus; the latter is nearly impossible to replicate, given that Boo is reportedly the only miniaturized giant space hamster in existence.)

Wearing this distinctive hat will proudly communicate your commitment to kicking evil's butt wherever you may find it—and warn wrongdoers that, should they dare to commit crime in your presence, you will not hesitate to go for the eyes!

            "Fold the Panel widthwise, and slst Row 73 to the starting chain of Row 1, using front loops only. Ch2, and cut a long tail before fastening off. This turns the Panel into a tube.",
            "With a tapestry needle, run White through the tops of the stitches of the open side closest to the circular pattern and pull tight to close up the top of the hat. If needed, sew the final hole closed after cinching tightly. Weave in any ends.",
