Eye and Hand of Vecna

Crochet patternCaBoMPp. 532024
The amigurumi arts need not be confined to living creatures. In this pattern, you will instead find undead artifacts of unspeakable power, all that now remains (hopefully!) of Vecna the Archlich. The powers of this legendary wizard-turned-undead remain imbued into his eye and hand after his defeat, and those who take up these artifacts can access some fraction of that power—at terrible cost, of course. Just as Vecna enjoyed luring adventurers into fiendish dungeons with the promise of great treasures, these artifacts continue his legacy of tempting would-be heroes to their doom. Those who bond with either item may gain powerful spells, strengths, and immunities, but will also acquire a warped morality, one that closely mirrors Vecna's own twisted soul.
Once these patterns are completed, be sure to make a careful inspection each time you approach your creations. The originals have been known to reappear in unexpected places and times. Accidentally attuning yourself to either one would be a great misfortune indeed.
